Playwrights Theatre is very excited for our friend, Catheine Filloux, and her upcoming production of SELMA '65 which will be presented at La MaMa from September 26-October 12, 2014.
In remembrance of the 50th
anniversary of the Selma Voting March, award-winning playwright Catherine
Filloux brings to life the interconnected stories of Viola Liuzzo, white civil
rights activist, and Tommy Rowe, FBI informant, undercover with the Ku Klux
Klan. Marietta Hedges plays both roles.
Catherine was interviewed on NBC New York. Click here to watch.
